The DataHub MCE Consumer is a Kafka consumer service that processes MetadataChangeProposal events from upstream sources (ingestion CLI, actions framework) and applies them to DataHub's metadata storage layer via the GMS API, writing failures back to the FailedMetadataChangeProposal topic for retry.
