This is an Istio Discovery (istiod) Docker Hardened Helm chart built from the upstream Istio istio-discovery⁠ Helm chart and using a hardened configuration with Docker Hardened Images.

The following Docker Hardened Images are used in this Helm chart:

• dhi/istio-pilot (istiod / pilot-discovery)
• dhi/istio-proxyv2 (Envoy proxy)

About Istio Discovery (istiod)

Istiod is the Istio control plane component that provides service discovery, configuration, and certificate management for the mesh. This chart deploys the pilot-discovery container that runs the xDS server and webhooks.
