Antrea is a Kubernetes⁠ networking solution intended to be Kubernetes native. It operates at Layer 3/4 to provide networking and security services for a Kubernetes cluster, leveraging Open vSwitch⁠ as the networking data plane.

This image is for the Antrea Agent, one of the 2 key components of Antrea. It is meant to be run as a DaemonSet in a K8s cluster. It is based on the RedHat UBI image, so it will typically only be used in OpenShift clusters. It is also only available for the amd64 architecture. Most users should prefer the antrea/antrea-agent-ubuntu⁠ image, which is based on Ubuntu and is available as a multi-platform manifest.
