This is designed to work with all \nCarpentries' lessons. \n\nThe main goal of this project is to provide a single software requirement for\nbuilding and maintiaining lessons officially supported by the Carpentries.\n\nPros: no installation of jekyll, R, python, etc. required\n\nCons: the container currently has no memory of the installed R packages and must\nrebuild these every time it is intialized. \n\n# Installing Docker\n\nInstructions for installing Docker Desktop on Windows and MacOS are available\non the docker website: \n\n# Working on your lesson\n\nTo work on your lesson, you should be in the working directory of your lesson \nand have docker community edition running (you should see a little docker icon\nin your taskbar). You will work on your lesson via RStudio Server that is hosted\nlocally in your browser. You will need to do the following steps:\n\n1. Run the docker container (see \"Running the container\", below)\n2. Open http://0.0.0.0:4000 to preview the site\n3. Open http://localhost:8787 to enter RStudio Server\n4. Edit any files in `_episodes_rmd` that you want to modify.\n5. Run `make lesson-md` in the RStudio terminal tab. The site will update\n automatically (if you would like to force everything to build, \n run `make -B lesson-md`)\n6.
