⁠Multi-Platform Support

The DVLS Docker image supports both amd64 and arm64 architectures, allowing deployment across a wide range of container platforms.

The container includes PowerShell 7 and the Devolutions.PowerShell module to automate initialization, upgrade workflows, and runtime configuration. This enables hands-free setup and updates with simple environment variable configuration.

⁠Flexible Deployment Modes

DVLS containers support three operating modes to fit different lifecycle stages:

• Runtime Mode: Standard operation serving an existing DVLS instance
• Initialization Mode: One-time setup creating database schema and admin user
• Update Mode: Automated backup, migration, and restoration during upgrades

Built-in TLS/HTTPS support with automatic self-signed certificate generation for development, or bring your own certificates for production. Optional SSH access for debugging and troubleshooting with configurable authentication.

Designed for container orchestration platforms including Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and Azure Web App for Containers. Includes health check endpoints and supports horizontal scaling with shared database backend.
