⁠lexauw/ansible

Ansible community package⁠ — ansible-core plus the community collections (community.general, kubernetes.core, amazon.aws, …) — and ansible-lint⁠ on Alpine, with python3, git, openssh and sshpass.

⁠Tags

<version> is the version of the ansible community package on PyPI (14.5.0); ansible-core inside is the one of lexauw/ansible-core⁠. Without the community collections — use that image.

⁠Usage

Runs as the non-root user ansible (uid/gid 1000, home /home/ansible); the default command is ansible --version. localhost is in the default inventory with a local connection.

docker run --rm -v "$PWD:/work" -w /work lexauw/ansible:<version> ansible-playbook -i inventory site.yml

Platforms: linux/amd64, linux/arm64. Every published digest is listed in the releases⁠ of the source repository — use it to pin or roll back a floating tag.
