The API Gateway for Fleetman
100K+
This is the facade to the backend for the Fleetman Sample Microservice Application.
To run locally (assuming a bridge network has been created with docker network create fleetman)
docker container run -d -e SPRING_PROFILES_ACTIVE=local-microservice -p 8080:8080 --network fleetman --name fleetman-api-gateway richardchesterwood/k8s-fleetman-api-gateway:{tag}
The network and name are necessary so that the webapp can connect to the gateway using docker networking.
The local-microservice profile allows for the full architecture to be deployed locally using regular docker containers.
Also available is the production-microservice profile which is intended for Kubernetes deployments.
A test endpoint can be visited via the root (/). When running through the Angular front end, the api gateway is routed through /api/
